Start the year under the stars. Disconnected, remote, deeply restorative.
Slow down and reset for the year ahead. We stay at a cozy off-grid lodge in Dalarna: fires in the evening, a wood-heated sauna, gentle walks among snowy spruce and pine, simple healthy meals. There’s no rush, no pressure — space to breathe, reflect and feel restored.
You’ll join calm breathwork and sharing circles, read tracks in the snow and enjoy quiet time under starry skies. Wildlife is a bonus. Auroras do appear here sometimes, but we never plan for them — if the night is clear, we’ll simply step outside and look up.

Meet your retreat leaders
Mikaela is a nature-loving retreat leader with 15+ years of experience guiding personal discovery. She brings calm presence, breathwork and gentle practices — and a creative side as a dancer, cook and drum-maker, rooted in ancestral ways of living in balance with nature.
Jean, originally from South Africa, now living in a small forest community in southern Dalarna. He’s outdoorsy, thoughtful and practical — with a background working with youth in wilderness camps, plus training in yoga and rhythm/drumming to support healing and vitality. He’s also passionate about the edible and medicinal plants of the forest.
Together Mikaela and Jean hold a soft, caring space: optional breathwork and sharing circles, unhurried time outdoors and evenings by the fire. They often guide one or two deeply relaxing sound journeys during the retreat.
