Beaver Safari – evening tour
Have you ever seen a Beaver? Join us for an evening boat tour on the lake. We usually see several Beavers, some close to the boat. We travel together in a rubber boat with electric engine accompanied by one of our skilled guides. The best time to see Beavers is during the Summer season (April-September).
- Meet wild Beavers in their natural habitat – we see Beaver on nearly every tour
- Learn more about Beaver from our experienced guide
- Beautiful boat ride on the Beaver lake at sunset
- Outdoor evening meal
- Chance to see other wildlife such as Moose, Crane, Black Throated Diver
Beavers are fascinating creatures. Did you know that a Beaver lodge can be as tall as a human and that it can cut a big tree with it’s bare teeth?
Program for Beaver Safari
Meet up with your guide in the afternoon. The tour begins with an introduction to Sweden’s wildlife as well as practical guidelines on how to act to increase our chances to encounter wild animals. We then enter our rubber boat and spend the evening silently cruising on the lake and river in search of Beavers and other wildlife. At some point we make a stop at the shore for an outdoor dinner. After dark we return to our starting point to conclude the tour.
