August 13: We saw 5 Wolves!
Last Friday we had a groups of 5 Wolves playing in front of us for several hours! We had the wind in the right direction so they didn’t notice us until we were about to leave.
Marcus was guiding a group of eight Swedish, one British and one Italian guest and sat down on a forest clearing when suddenly a Wolf turned up about 150 meters away. We all reached for our binoculars and saw that there was another 4 Wolves in a group. The Wolves were playing for a good 30 minutes before disappearing into the woods, but then returned several times during the evening running around in the area and resting in the high grass.
Later at night we heard them howling before we headed back to camp and our tent for a good nights sleep just a few hundred meters away from where we had just seen the Wolves.

The wolf tour was a fantastic experience and one that I will remember for the rest of my life! The nature in this area was beautiful and to see five wolves was really breathtaking.
